I have suffered with severe pain in my left hip for the last couple of years and walked with the aid of cane the last few months.
Dr. Bertram performed a total hip replacement of my left hip on September 1, 2005. Within two weeks after surgery, I was walking without pain and with no assistance of any kind, in fact I have no pain in my hip at all. I am now walking about a mile a day three or four times a week.
Soon I will be able to resume normal daily activities, such as tying my own shoes and putting on my socks. At age 84, I think that is pretty wonderful. Like a miracle.
Thank You Dr. Bertram,
